Notice which image of yourself feels most compelling and what you expect it to resolve. A new direction may need time to develop before it becomes a role you can comfortably inhabit. Try separating your own preferences from the qualities you admire in someone else.

Forward motion brings Neptune through the loop again. Put the review to use without expecting the direct station to settle everything at once; exact contacts depend on your natal degrees.
What is happening
What the Retrograde Reviews
Neptune stations retrograde at 4°25′ Aries on July 7, 2026 and retraces to 1°37′ before turning direct on December 12. The same early degrees receive another visit, giving an emerging ideal or sense of direction more time to develop. Retrograde does not automatically clear the fog. It can bring a change of perspective, but it can also leave you working with feelings that have not yet become a clear explanation.
Aries wants to know what to do, and Neptune can make that question surprisingly complicated. You may feel drawn toward a creative path, a cause or a different image of yourself without knowing what the practical version looks like. Rather than choosing between blind commitment and total dismissal, investigate what attracts you. Is it the work itself, the identity it promises or the hope that it will resolve something else?
Imagination and reflection belong in this phase, alongside checks that keep interpretation connected to experience. Record what happened separately from what you think it means, ask for clear terms and leave room to change your mind. Compassion does not require supplying every missing detail on someone else’s behalf. A disappointment can provide information without turning every ideal into a mistake.
Check planets and angles from 1°37′ to 4°25′ in the signs listed below. A Neptune contact to the Sun asks different questions from one to Venus, Mercury or Mars, and a planet’s natal house and rulerships add another layer. The rising sign reading describes the whole sign house involved; it is not an exact prediction for everyone sharing that sign. Direct motion in December continues the exploration rather than ending it on cue.
The rising sign reading gives you the whole sign house story. Check the event degree against your natal planets and angles to see whether it is also making an exact contact in your chart.
Read these as contacts to a natal planet or angle, not a prediction for everyone with that Sun sign. Each aspect is exact at the same numbered degree in the signs listed.

A square or opposition can describe tension that needs a response; a sextile or trine can describe cooperation or an opening. Neither is a guaranteed outcome. Read the contacted planet, its house and the rest of the chart.
