That last question has a quiet weight to it. Another Saturn cycle is twenty nine and a half years. Asking what is worth that much time is a different exercise at fifty eight than it was at twenty nine, and it is not a smaller one.
What To Actually Go Do
Date the passes properly. Get natal Saturn's degree and have your software list every exact contact, because the window is often two or three years wide and knowing that is its own kind of relief.
Then find natal Saturn's house and the houses it rules, and write down those topics. Those are the departments actually under review, not whichever ones the culture keeps telling you belong to your age group.
Then do the comparison the first return could not offer you. Go back to roughly age 29 and ask what you committed to then. Some of it you are still carrying. Some of it quietly ended years ago and you never formally noticed. The second return tends to be interested in both categories, and in which of them you would choose again knowing what it cost.
One caveat worth stating. If the honest answer is that a lot of it was not chosen, because circumstances or health or obligation made the choices for you, that is not a failed cycle.
